Cat and Girl

I just found a comic called Cat and Girl
In one of the early ones, she says,
"They're so deadened to the world that life makes sense to them."

I don't get this one, but I thought you'd appreciate the penultimate drink.

I get some of it now. The names are artists. Oldenburg, for example, built sculptures of ordinary objects, but made them big. The only thing I can recall seeing (in Portland) is an over-sized hot-water bag (or something like that).
