I gotta run, but I wanted to get this quick. Was I dreaming when the radio came on this morning, or did Huckabee really use Strauss's "Also Sprach Zarathustra" as his
entrance music? The piece named after Nietzsche's magnum opus? Well done sir.

I had to do some research to figure out why you thought you might be dreaming. The details are delicious. The republican, southern baptist minister, presidential candidate used the theme from 2001, written by Strauss, which was inspired by and named after a book by Nietzsche that famously declared "God is dead". Is that irony?
Yay, not dreaming :). And in so far as irony can also be both accidental and laughably, pathetically stupid, yeah, I'd say it's ironic.
